Ivanov Renovation & Construction Group is a family building and renovation business based at 34 Milton Rd, Radcliffe, Manchester M26 3QT, United Kingdom. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Ivanov Renovation & Construction Group.

The information we collect

We only collect what we need to answer you, give you a quote and carry out your job.

• Contact details: your name, phone number, email address and postcode or address, when you call, email, message us on WhatsApp or use the quote form.
• Details about your project: what you would like done, rough sizes, dates, and any photos or videos you choose to send us.
• Job records: quotes, invoices, payments and notes about the work we carry out at your property.
• Website data: if you accept statistics cookies, Google Analytics records how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location. It does not tell us who you are.

How we use your information

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a free home visit.
• To prepare your written quote and agree the work with you.
• To plan, carry out and finish the job, and keep you updated.
• To send invoices, take payments and keep the records the law requires.
• To improve our website, using anonymous statistics, only if you agree to cookies.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send you marketing messages unless you ask us to.

Our legal reasons for using it

• Taking steps towards a contract and carrying it out: answering your enquiry, quoting and doing the work.
• Legal obligation: keeping financial and tax records.
• Legitimate interests: running our business well, for example keeping a record of past jobs in case you need us again.
• Consent: statistics cookies on this website. You can change your choice at any time.

Who we share it with

Only when we need to, and only what is needed:

• Our own team members working on your job.
• Trusted suppliers or specialist trades, for example to deliver materials or certify work, when this is part of your project.
• Our accountant and HMRC, for tax and accounting.
• Service providers who help us run the business, such as email, WhatsApp, website hosting and Google Analytics. Some of these companies may store data outside the UK. When they do, they use legal safeguards such as UK adequacy regulations or standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries that do not turn into a job: up to 12 months, then deleted.
• Quotes, invoices and job records: 6 years after the job, as required for tax.
• Website statistics: kept by Google Analytics for up to 14 months.

Cookies

When you first visit our site, a banner asks for your consent. Statistics cookies (Google Analytics) are only used if you click Accept. You can change your choice at any time with the Manage consent button. Full details are in our Cookie Policy.

Your rights

How we keep it safe

Your information is kept on password-protected devices and accounts that only our team can open. Our website uses a secure https connection.

Making a complaint

If you are unhappy with how we have used your information, please tell us first and we will put it right. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
